Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspurs played out a six-goal 3-3 draw in Manchester in what was the peek of the weekend fixtures. On the back of three defeats, Tottenham salvaged a draw deep into injury time spoiling the Citizens’ party. The game leaves City in third place on the table behind Arsenal and Liverpool who both won their corresponding fixtures.

Dejan Kulusevski canceled Jack Grealish’s goal late in the tie after the sides exchanged the lead as the teams went back and forth. Tottenham’s captain Son Heung-Min put the Londoners in the lead after 6 minutes. However, he turned villain three minutes later, conceding an own goal to level the score. Foden then gave the Citizens the lead but Lo Celso levelled the tie with 20 minutes to play.

Manchester City will go into the next game against Aston Villa without Rodri who will be suspended after attaining 5 yellow cards. In addition, Jack Grealish shares the same fate and will miss the Villa tie.

Tottenham remain in 6th place on the table and will look to regain some momentum going into the festive season fixtures.
